Ki nga mana nga reo o nga hau e wha, tenei te tuku i nga mihi kia ratou i kookiri i enei kaupapa ki mua.

The establishment of the two Maori wards by Waikato Regional Council represents an opportunity for our communities to fully engage in the regional development decisions that affect our whanau, hapuu and Iwi. We need to engage in any decision making that affects our awa, whenua and moana.
I believe that a focus and commitment of our regional resources can deliver efficient governance, front end engagement with Maori in all planning and better value for your investment in local government overall.
My experience in governance, strategic planning and co-management are key skills I bring to this role. I am committed to representing the aspirations of our communities and creating enduring relationships within local government.
